Jessica Jones joined UPOP in September 2007 after 30 years working in her family's consulting and computer startup businesses. In her communications role, she manages the annual campaign to persuade sophomores that UPOP is well worth joining! In her spare time, Jessica co-leads the Boston chapter of ThyCa, a national support group for survivors of thyroid cancer. In her past, she led support groups for parents of hyperactive children, taught conflict-management and parenting classes in a variety of settings, and trained for many years in psychodrama, a type of psychotherapy. She enjoys learning about graphic design and digital photography, and finds her four granddaughters a source of endless entertainment. Born in Australia, she has lived in Britain, New Zealand, Fiji, Australia, Canada, and all over the US—but New England is her favorite.
